Indonesians doubt local terror links

Article Abstract:

Many Muslims in Indonesia will not believe that there is a locally-based terrorist group called "Jemaah Islamiyah." The Indonesian government has yet to crackdown on the group, despite having supported its listing as a terrorist organization with the United Nations.

Terror threat remains in Asia

Article Abstract:

The apprehension of Riduan Isamuddin, the most wanted terrorist in Asia, has had a limited effect on the Jemaah Islamiyah group. Isamuddin's arrest is not expected to stop the group's attack capabilities against Western targets in the Southeast Asian region.
