Former CEO of Keefe, Bruyette & Woods Inc., James J. McDermott Jr., was charged with insider trading in a criminal complaint filed in U.S. federal court in New York. McDermott allegedly passed confidential information to adult film star Kathryn B. Gannon who is also charged in the complaint.
