KUNDERNE TRAETTE AF FINANSIELLE SUPERMARKEDER
Article Abstract:
The financial sector in Denmark is not performing what business customers expect. That is the result of a survey from Greens Analysinstitute where 899 companies in Denmark were asked what they wanted in financial companies and what they thought the companies performed. Most important was a credible product to a good price. It was not important that the particular company delivered a lot of different services, those services could be fulfilled somewhere else. The survey makes it clear that businesses in Denmark do not see it as an advantage that financial companies offers "everything" within the financial sector, e.g. banks with insurance etc. The most important traits were said to be reliability, price, quality and the employees know-how. Danish financial companies were overall rated higher than foreign.

FORSIKRINGSSELSKABER VIL BESKYTTE KUNDERNE
Article Abstract:
The insurance business has now issued an action plan with 14 paragraphs aimed at providing better information and protection to clients. The plan comprises the publishing of a brochure for house-, vehicle- and family insurance policies. The brochure is to inform of the coverage, prices and own risk of insurance policies. At a later stage, further brochures will be published to inform of other areas of insurance. The National Board for Consumer Policies states that this initiative is a step to the right direction but that it is not enough. There is a need for ethical guidelines in the insurance business, says Peter Nedergaard of the Board, and makes comparisons with the banking world. The reason for this is that ethical issues are becoming increasingly important when courts handle complaints.
