Daerden d fend une SNCB forte et non r gionalis e
Article Abstract:
During a Socialist Party meeting, the Belgian Federal Minister of Transports stated that the cut in the SNCB workforce to 35,000 employees by 2005 is theoretical, and will depend on the railroad operations at that date. He also pointed out that investments had increased from BFr 10bn to BFr 25bn. He favours having a strong company in order to stand up to other European companies, and he opposes the regionalization of the SNCB.
