Article Abstract:
Albanians in southern Serbia account for 90% of the population, and they fear ethnic cleansing efforts in the region by Serbs. Serbs in Kosovo control the region's weaponry. Violence, disease and shortages of goods in Kosovo have resulted from international sanctions.

Hard men take the long view
Article Abstract:
Under a proposed peace plan for Bosnia-Herzegovina a corridor in the northern region of the country connecting Serbs there to greater Serbia would be dismantled. Serbs may say they would agree to this but in reality that seems unlikely.
