MAN's net jumps 75% for year
Article Abstract:
MAN AG of Germany has recorded a growth of 75% in net profits for its latest fiscal year attributed to sound economy and efforts to reduce costs. MAN Roland, a printing-press unit, strengthened the net increase through a net profit of 15 million marks from a loss of 118 million marks in the prior fiscal year. MAN, which saw its shares be heavily purchased in the market, also attributed the net turnaround to increases in commercial vehicles that surpassed expectations by analysts. However, analysts are holding off possible upgrades on the stock of MAN with analysts seeking for more information on the international prospects of the firm.
