The dearth of management skills in China's businesses could eventually prove to be their downfall. The managerial cadre in China can be divided into two extremes, overly cautious because of entanglement with legal provisions and out and out risk takers. The methods used at ASIMCO Technologies to overcome this problem are discussed.
