Various tips for mothers to relieve their children's camp jitters are discussed. Some of the tips include discussing the itinerary with children in the age group of 7 to 9 years, sharing ones own childhood stories and planning a slumber party for the children with their friends for the weekend they are due to return home.

Four ways to get the children out of bed easily are given. Nine hours of rest is necessary for elementary-aged children, so move up bedtime to allow for adequate rest and don't let children stay up late on the weekends. Also, dinner about 90 minutes before bedtime allows for digestion without going to bed hungry.
