Multiobjective Management of Mining under Water Hazard Game Theory
Article Abstract:
Aquifer management is investigated in the case of a multiobjective programming model wherein the management problem can fulfill a given set of axioms. Certain types of multiobjective problems can be figured using game theory concepts amounting to a single objective quasi convex program. The technique is a generalized version of the Nash cooperative game model, and involves a bargaining process. This technique is used for the Karstic area of Hungary which has three goals: mining costs, water supply, and environmental protection. Findings are compared with former compromise programming results. The two results and methods are quite similar. This a fairly typical case of area natural resource development. Tables of game theory solution data are included. Dynamic features of the problem can be estimated in multiobjective analysis.
