PENTAFOUR MAKES THE RIGHT MOVES TOWARDS HOLLYWOOD

Article Abstract:

Pentafour Software and Exports Ltd, one of the Indian software companies, wants to become a major player in providing technical and special visual effects for Hollywood movies. It has taken up animation for Sinbad, a full length animated feature film, which uses optical motion capture process. Depending on its success, Pentafour plans to take up more projects in 1999. These include two animation films, two live- action films with visual effects, two 13-episode production, five digital ink and paint for traditional animation and five games. (um)

TCL NOW IN `A' CIRCLE WITH OVER 30,000 SUBSCRIBERS

Tata Cellular Limited (TCL) is a leading cellular operator in Andhra Pradesh. It has over 30,000 subscribers now. It has become one of the operators in the `A' circle in India. In terms of the licence fee paid, TCL has the highest number of subscribers. It had 153.85 subscribers per million rupees of licence fee paid. (gs)
