TBWA and True North Communications have been affected by changes in their management. TBWA's New York, NY, office is reorganizing its management with Carl Johnson being transferred from the firm's London, UK, office to become its New York office president and CEO. TBWA also appointed David Page to become the new executive creative director. Meanwhile, True North Communications is searching a new CEO to replace CEO Bruce Mason as he plans to retire by the end of March 1999.

Agencies confident of regional stability
Article Abstract:
Advertising agencies have expressed confidence over the stability in Jordan despite the death of King Hussein in February 1999. Agencies cite that instability would only happen with security threats in the region. However, reports relay that joint projects with Israel are going to push through despite rumors of its discontinuation. Meanwhile, Jordan's market lacks international investment with multinationals spending limited investments in the country.
