New name for PSDI

PSDI, an asset management specialist, has changed its name to MRO Software to reflects its focus on maintenance, repair and operations materials. The company offers a management tool, called Maxim Extended Enterprise, which help firms communicate equipment requirements across supply chain. The software tool also assists in the management of high-value capital assets. It can cut inventories and supply chain costs, and reduce maintenance expenses.

Sensis Corp was awarded two contracts for its Multistatic Dependent Surveillance (MDS) multilateration system for airport surface surveillance. Sensis' MDS surveillance data will be integrated with an Advanced Surface Movement Guidance and Control System in the London- Heathrow Airport. The second is for the reconfiguration of display data for the Memphis International Airport's Federal Express ramp tower and the FAA control tower.

The move was made to make the solutin available to small and medium-sized airports with limited budgets. SmartAirport is used for resoource planning and management.
