Chelpark is launching a new marketing initiative to intensify its presence in writing instruments, art materials and adhesives. It has decided to give retailers a margin of 20-35 percent and an 80- strong sales force is appraising retailers of the decision. Ink production accounts for 60-70 percent of its Rs9 crore turnover and the company has planned a brand new positioning for its brand. It has also launched a Gelball pen for office use at Rs22 per unit. (khr)

TATAS TO LAUNCH NEW CORP LOGO

The Tata group is launching its new corporate logo at the Indian Engineering Trade Fair in Delhi on February 12, 1999. The logo will be displayed at the Tata stall.
