Successful localization programs in China: an important element in strategy implementation
Article Abstract:
Multinational companies that set up operations in other countries can greatly reduce operating costs by localising management. The results of a study of the localization program in 67 multinational companies operating in China, are presented.

Managing the exploration vs. exploitation dilemma in transnational "bridging teams"
Article Abstract:
The authors present four case studies to discuss how companies can develop and use learning models. The studies show that distance is an impediment because of lower visibility and central management not always being in touch.
