The firm supplies 60% of its production to the Czech market, 25% to Slovakia and 10% to other countries. The company has 40 employees. BC was set up at the end of 1991. The firm develops and sells mainly infusion equipment. The company's unique product is a pulsed trombolytic pump developed together with the Institution of the Clinical and Experimental Medicine in Prague.

Firma Podebradka commissions new line

Article Abstract:

Firma Podebradka (Czech Republic), mineral water producer, has commissioned a mineral water bottling line from Sidel (France). The line includes the production of PET bottles. The new equipment together with the hitherto bottling line from 1997 will increase the supplies of the firm's flavoured mineral water to nearly 1 mil hl in 1999. The firm should be involved in the recycling of plastic bottles.
