Peace-creeping: El Salvador
Article Abstract:
The civil war in El Salvador is over, but slow implementation and political haggling threaten the peace settlement. Rebel forces of the Farabundo Marti National Liberation Front (FMLN) are refusing to disarm because government forces have not kept promises to make FMLN a legal political party.
