Pianissimo: Italian privatisation
Article Abstract:
Italy's decision to privatize some state-owned businesses seems to be working well in light of the success of the sale of ENI shares, but the actual amount of equity in ENI will only be 31%. None of the businesses sold are true privatizations and the process is fraught with delays.
