Zero in on Page Conflicts
Article Abstract:
A problem with writing fast machine language routines on the Apple is the lack of available zero page memory. A solution is to copy the zero page to another memory space and back again after the routine is finished. Assembly routines can be used to check stack space and move data back and forth. Fragments of machine language routines illustrate this.

Think Tank - Get Help While on the Run
Article Abstract:
Since the 16K language card is not usually available to Applesoft programs it is a good idea to use it to hold information screens. A program, written in Assembler, is given to store help information screens on the 16K card. A sample of the hex dump of the help program and part of a program implementing the help program are illustrated.
