Porsche warns of profit decline for the fiscal year

Porsche AG of Germany is projecting an earnings decline with flat operating profit for 2007. Automobile sales are up .4 percent in the new fiscal year although little growth is expected until the launch of the new Panamera model in 2009. Porsche AG posted net profit of 1.39 billion Euros ($1.85 billion) for 2006, up 79 percent from 779 million Euros last year.

Deutsche Postbank's net rises 21% on cost savings

Article Abstract:

Deutsche Postbank AG of Germany posted soaring net profit increases in the second quarter by 21 percent to 143 million Euros ($182.3 million) from 118 million Euros last year. Revenues were aided by the acquisition of BHW Holding AG also of Germany.

Dresdner Bank confirms outlook but warns of weaker second half

Article Abstract:

Dresdner Bank AG of Germany is projecting solid operating profit of approximately 1.2 billion ($1.53 billion) for 2006. The subsidiary of insurer Allianz AG also expects second half earnings to be less than the first half.
