Rabobank unit buys Tokai Bank arm
Article Abstract:
De Lage Landen Leasing and Trade Finance has acquired Tokai Bank Ltd.'s leasing unit in the US for $410 million. The deal is an attempt by De Lage to increase its ability to provide coast-to-coast service to its US clients. De Lage is a Rabobank Group subsidiary. The firm would be able to participate in small and medium-size retail and distribution financing in the US as a result of the deal.
