Second-quarter net income for German software company SAP AG rose 8.2% to reach 449 mil euro, boosted by strong sales and a reduced tax rate. Revenue for software licenses grew by 18% to reach 715 mil euro. American depositary receipts increased by 6.9% to reach $55.54.
