Qusay and Uday Hussein, the sons of former Iraqi president Saddam Hussein, were killed in a gun battle with US soldiers in Mosul. The death of the two sons represent a major victory for US president George W. Bush as his administration attempts to eliminate the remants of Saddam's regime in Iraq.
