Searching for psychologically stable solutions of multiple criteria decision problems

Article Abstract:

An interactive method that permits the decision maker to simplify a decision problem by temporarily neglecting the values of objectives and instead focusing on their changes. The objective is to show how the notion of psychological stability effectively complements interactive solution process of solving a multiple criteria decision problem. Results indicate that the method based on the new interactive decision making approach allows the analysis of both continuous and discrete decision making situations.

Incorporating wealth information into a multiple criteria decision making model

Article Abstract:

A methodological framework that incorporates information about the relative wealth of a decision maker (DM) into a multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) model is presented. It is argued that a DM's preferences and the importance of his/her objectives vary depending on the decisional wealth.
