Article Abstract:

Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin's decision to prevent West Bank and Gaza Palestinians from working in Israel has led to fewer attacks on Israelis. His plan has appealed also to growing support for complete separation between Jews and Arabs and the belief in dependence on only Jewish labor.
