LoveFilm to buy Amazon businesses

Article Abstract:

British online movie rental service LoveFilm International Ltd. will buy the UK and German DVD rental units from Amazon.com Inc. Amazon will then invest an undisclosed amount in LoveFilm to become its biggest shareholder. Amazon and LoveFilm will also establish a marketing agreement involving the advertising of LoveFilm's movies on Amazon web sites.
