Silicon waves: superconductors
Article Abstract:
Researchers experimenting with silicon transistors are studying metal insulator transition. Electrons travel easily in specially designed 2DEGS, and electrical resistance is low near absolute zero. More research is needed to determine if this will be a new kind of superconductor.
