Article Abstract:

Ascent Technology has developed a network of intelligent software modules, called the SmartAirport Operations Center for San Francisco, CA's new US$2.4 billion International Terminal. The software management system can allocate gates, baggage belts and check-in counters to ensure optimum passenger flow throughout the 1.8 million square foot facility. All of the terminal's equipment is designated common use.

Guinault has developed two new units for aircraft servicing. The CR60 aircraft heater is a trailer-mounted unit that produces up to 76kW with an airflow of 4,0003/h. It provides two different levels of heating. In the antifreeze position, the electrically powered unit maintains the temperature in the aircraft cabin at +5 degrees C when outside air temperatures are between -15 degrees C and +5 degrees C.

Article Abstract:

Pema, a Turkey-based company, offers Pemacart 2000, a stainless steel luggage cart with capacity to carry up to 150 kilograms. The trolley carries five advertisement boards and has two rubber wheels in front to avoid damade to any points hit by the cart. It is available with or without a brake system. Some 5,6000 units of Pemacart 2000 are already being used at Turkish and Cypriot airports.
