Stark scoop on America

Article Abstract:

The Chinese media released negative depictions of Americans as a result of a biased reporting of the Western media on China. According to Chinese press, Americans are liars and 91% often lie mostly about their weight, age, money and hair color; American bosses never maintain lasting relations with their employees; and Americans love their pets but abuse their children. Despite the Chinese media's negative commentaries on the Americans, the Chinese have continued to look up for opportunities in America.

New assertive face of Chinese army is becoming more apparent to outsiders

Article Abstract:

The People's Liberation Army of China is once again making its presence felt. Last seen in the limelight when it squelched the Tiananmen Square democracy protest in 1989, the army is conducting missile tests and military exercises to demonstrate its might to discourage what is seen as Taiwan's bid for independence. The Liberation Army Daily intensified its campaign by adding rhetoric to its arsenal. It promised to smash any hope of independence in Taiwan.
