Storm in a teacup over climate change

Article Abstract:

The media's misinformation on the issue of global warming can lead to panic and misguided policy-making. There had been reports but no evidence that global warming is a result of greenhouse effect, and that it has caused weather disasters such as Hurricane Katrina. Restoring the integrity of scientific reports on global warming is discussed.

Article Abstract:

Malaysia is beginning to return to normal after the ethnic violence in 1969. The economy is very vulnerable to shocks that will be caused by ethnic tensions, and any economic slowdown will certainly aggravate these tensions.
