TVA's Lamarre joins Cirque du Soleil
Article Abstract:
TVA Group has announced the resignation of Daniel Lamarre as president and CEO of the company, effective Jan 15, 2001. Lamarre left the media company to join the Cirque du Soleil as president and general manager of a new division. The unit he will head plans to build a $1-billion hotel- entertainment complex at the former Battersea electricity plant in London, UK. He will also be responsible for Cirque's TV, multimedia, licensing and retailing divisions.
