Tata Steel offers $8 billion for Corus

TATA Steel of India has offered to acquire Corus Gropu PLC of the United Kingdom for approximately 4.4 billion Pounds ($8 billion). The created steel company would produce approximately $345 million in savings on costs. The acquisition would be one of the largest foreign acquisitions for an Indian company.
