Telecom Italia attempts to win back investors

Article discussing how Telecom Italia SpA tried to win back the assistance of investors by approving a buyback of nonvoting savings shares and releasing information about its three-year industrial plan. After a board meeting Wednesday, the Italian telecom company released details of the savings shares buyback, in an attempt to appease a group of investors left out of the takeover of the firm by Olivetti SpA last spring.
