Companies selling products and information have proliferated, with most focused on a single country, though Planet Medica aims to operate in several countries. The company has set up consumer portals in Germany, France and Britain, and aims to expand into Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands and Spain. Regulations could hamper the development of these companies.
