The merchandise squad
Article Abstract:
Winning a license to sell Olympic-branded merchandise is a cheaper way to be associated with the Olympic games. The Vancouver Organizing Committee (VANOC) awards licenses to merchandisers that have passed a stringent screening process. The merchandisers only need to pay royalties from the sale of the branded merchandise to VANOC.
