Both Bulgaria and Serbia are undergoing political changes, largely brought on by wide-scale protests. Newly-elected Bulgarian Pres Petar Stoyanov has promised political reform and economic development. Serbian Pres Slobodan Milosevic has finally agreed to honor the Nov 1996 elections.
