Tiny turtle limit in swordfish fishery

Article Abstract:

US Hawaiian longliners would be benefited by the rules set by National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), as they would be able to fish for swordfish after a very long time. However, longlining for swordfish would be banned in a 1600 mile stretch of the Pacific Ocean between the West Coast and the Hawaii, the reason being to help protect endangered sea turtles, which were being killed or injured by longlining hooks.
