Indonesia out to end $2bn pirate fish loss - tracking 1200 fishing boats
Article Abstract:
The efficacy of the vessel monitoring system in Indonesia is discussed. The system also helps in controlling illegal, unreported, unregulated fishing activity by foreign vessels in Indonesian waters. These illegal-fishing activities cost the nation almost $2 billion a year.
