The Khmer Rouge has reported tried former Cambodian despot Pol Pot, one of the century's most brutal tyrants, and sentenced him to life in prison. International observers were skeptical about the trial though, believing the Khmer Rouge are just trying to curry diplomatic favor.

Success in Cambodia
Article Abstract:
The UN should seek support from Japan to finance the payroll of Cambodia's 100,000-member army, in order to force the Cambodian People's Party to accept its recent defeat in democratic elections. Otherwise, the army may resume the war with the Khmer Rouge.
