Learning from the dome
Article Abstract:
Land Design Studio Partner and Architect Peter Higgins has several objections to how the Millenium Dome, London, England, has been organised. His company was responsible for designing the Play Zone. Higgins suggests the signs within the dome are inadequate. He feels the internal and external architecture should have had a more integrated design. Higgins points out the project suffered from not having a designer with overall responsibility for creative work within the dome. He is also unhappy at the type of exhibits which have been placed in proximity to the Play Zone.

Architects need to make bold decisions about the architecture of the future so they will have not to correct mistakes, said Cedric Price.
