UNclear: Cambodia
Article Abstract:
UNAMIC has a budget of only $45m. Planned as the UN's largest peace-keeping project, the force still does not have enough money to pay for 15,000 troops and 1500 civilian workers. The unstable peace accord in Cambodia is threatened unless the UN can help.

The international peacekeeping efforts of the United Nations should be better managed and financed. Suggestions include creating a UN army, a UN military staff college, and the creation of a 'peace' fund of $1 billion.
