Vokens highlight Sympatico contest prizes

Bell Sympatico has launched a contest to support its search engine, Sympatico.ca. Cossette Interactive e-solutions associate Patric Bhang has put together a banner campaign using vokens, little animated pictures, or vitual tokens, that run across an Internet user's screen. The picture is an animated Buick sport utility vehicle filled with Canadian stuff, including a Seadoo, a Polaroid camera and gift certificates from Canadian Tire.

Article Abstract:

Shoppers Drug Mart has launched an advertising campaign that urges customers to take care of themselves. The ad, created by Toronto's TBWA/Chiat/Day, is entitled 'Until then.' The campaign consists of five spots, launched on television, in cinemas and in-flight advertising. None of the ads feature products or pharmacists. Instead, they encourage the increasingly health-conscious consumer to see Shoppers Drug Mart as a partner.
