British Steel gives CPD a technical dimension

Article Abstract:

The Royal Institute of British Architects' continuing professional development (CPD) open learning programme has benefitted from the production of three technical training packages by British Steel. Previous CPD packages have not covered design and technical areas. British Steel's contribution has developed from training materials which have been successfully used in architecture schools since 1990. The packages cover tension structures, corrosion protection and long-span buildings.
