VNU, IMS lock horns over terms to scrap merger
Article Abstract:
VNU N.V. of the Netherlands is in talks with IMS Health Inc. of the United States to end a $7 billion acquisition agreement. Half the investors of the Dutch publishing company revolted against the merger. IMS Health Inc. is asking for restitution in tens of millions of dollars to unwind acquisition arrangements and for damage to their reputation.

Finland's Sanoma may buy VNU's consumer magazines

Sanoma Oy is near reaching a deal to acquire VNU NV's consumer magazines business. The deal is valued at approximately $1.25 billion (1.43 billion euros).
