"Value" of additional information in multicriterion analysis under uncertainty

Article Abstract:

The Bayesian approach was extended to undertake a multicriterion analysis of an uncertainty that is associated with the creation of random variables with subjective probability distributions a priori. In conducting a multicriterion analysis, an outranking approach is utilized since the decision maker's utility function is unknown. Such procedure is non-exhaustive and effectively illustrates, with help of distance measure, the value of additional information.

An analysis of the impact of chaotic dynamics on management information flow models

Article Abstract:

Dynamic mathematical models is often used to assist management. When model generates chaotic result under certain circumstances, decisions based on the use of that model are highly affected. Moreover, when some models are simultaneously employed, the relations between then may lead to chaotic results, even if no individual model displays such behavior.
