Vedior to acquire Select in E1.74 billion deal

Vedior NV, a Netherlands-based temporary employment agency, has agreed to acquire leading UK recruitment company Select Appointments (Holdings) PLC in an all-cash deal that will make Vedior the third-largest agency in the world. Vedior will pay GBP10.50 per share, valuing Select at GBP1.145 (Euro1.74 billion).
