Vietnam is stuck in a party stalemate

Article Abstract:

The Vietnamese Communist Party has failed to provide the necessary leadership to bring the country of poverty, and some critics suggest that this country, which is led by one party of nominal communists, needs someone to get rid of the social structure and accept the market enthusiastically. A comparison is drawn between China and Vietnam, both of which have similar politics and institutions, but where China is doing much better economically than its counterpart.

Don't ignore China's progress on human rights

Article Abstract:

The US should abstain from its incessant criticism of China's human rights policy and should view it within the context of China's culture and its conception of national sovereignty. China has embraced free-market policies in its economy and employing such economic policies eventually leads to pluralism that may lead to democracy. The information and resources available to Chinese citizens will inevitably lead them towards democracy.
