Article Abstract:
Two financially-troubled financial institutions, Spain's Banesto and France's Credit Lyonnais, have used many of the same techniques to try to return to profitability. Each has undertaken management reshufflings, liquidated certain industrial assets, and reemphasized domestic markets.
