Goldman, Allianz in talks for stake in Chinese bank

The Goldman Sachs Group Inc. of the United States and Allianz Aktiengesellschaft Holding of Germany are in talks to acquire a stake in the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China for $1 billion. There are a select group of Western banks that have invested in China, analysts concede that deals can be risky.
