What is 'Green'?
Article Abstract:
Businesses are increasingly under pressure to become more 'green' in order to improve efficiency, competitiveness, client focus, and sustainability; avoid risk; and to meet environmental demands. The concept of what is 'green' is discussed, including the various approaches to the identification of 'green'. Four views of 'green' are given, including industry's view; environmental pressure groups' view; financial agents' view; and the international community's view.
