When man bites dog
Article Abstract:
There are some 58 million dogs in the US, and the trend for dog owners to increasingly live in homes with no garden, and want to take their pets for a run, has led to pressure on public parks. Dog dirt is a problem, and boisterous dogs can also lead to resentment. There has been pressure for tighter rules on where dogs can be allowed off the leash, and for stricter enforcement of existing rules. Dog owners are seen as the problem, rather than the dogs themselves.
